Christine Schaap is a successful author, speaker, and life transition coach. She’s been on the internet since 2004 when she launched Path Partners, an organization offering support and guidance to women internationally as they navigate their journey through midlife. Last year she also started coaching men and just released a new e-book, Survive Your Wife’s Midlife Crisis.
Married for over twenty years, Christine is the mother of five and lives in Rockford, MI. Prior to starting Path Partners, she homeschooled for 12 years, freelanced as a marketing and communications consultant, and led women’s Bible studies. She has volunteered with organizations such as MOPS, Habitat for Humanity, World Relief, Special Olympics, and her local crisis pregnancy center. She’s worked with inner-city kids in a Chicago housing project and helped with clean-up in areas devastated by hurricanes.
A city-girl at heart, her family lived in the country when her kids were younger and raised goats, chickens, and rabbits. Christine previously owned a company that marketed educational books, toys, and parenting products. Her true love, however, has always been writing. Editor of her school paper, her childhood dream was to travel the world as a journalist. Although her life took a different direction, she still loves to travel and meet new people. Her hobbies include rollerblading, kayaking, and golf – anything that gets her outdoors – especially near water. In all she does, Christine strives to live her company motto, “Inspiring women to lead productive lives with passion and purpose – no matter what your age!”
